Adding to your investment, gifting an investment, and redeeming part or all of your investment are simple to do. There is no minimum period for investment, but we hope you can stay with us for the longer term.
Top-up, gift or redeem
Topping up your investment
You can add to your investment by post. Simply send us a cheque* made payable to the Oikocredit International Share Foundation and we'll do the rest. Or if you prefer, download and complete this Top-up Form.
You can also make a bank transfer to the Oikocredit International Share Foundation as follows, using your name as a reference:
Bank: ING Bank, London Branch.
Account No: 20349293; Sort Code: 23-88-59
Reference: please use your name or account reference.
*Please note that we cannot accept euro cheques
Redeeming part or all of your investment
You can request the redemption of all or part of your investment at any time, although you need to leave a minimum of £150 (€200) to keep your account open. If you wish to make a withdrawal, please download and complete our Redemption Form and return it by post to our UK and Ireland office in London. The process usually takes around two weeks to complete.
Gifting an investment to someone
You can gift an investment to someone you know, including children aged under 18 years provided you obtain parental consent. To do this, please download and complete our Gifting Form, and return it to us by post.
In accordance withFCA regulations, we will require your giftee (if they are aged 18 or over), or their parent/guardian (if they are under 18 years), to fill in an Eligibility Form (accepting the risks of the product), and, thereafter, a Subscription Form (with their details) before we accept your gift payment.
This is because your giftee becomes 'the investor' on Oikocredit's database after you have made the transaction; enabling them to top-up, redeem or gift the investment as they wish.
Please let us know how you wish to handle the notification of these forms, so that your gift is presented in the time and manner you require.
