As we enter the new year, we see signs of economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic in some of the regions where we work, such as in West Africa. In recent months we have also begun financing new partners again, as well as adding to the support offered to existing partners.
While we know that 2021 will continue to be challenging for Oikocredit, for our partners and their clients, and for most of humankind, we still want to bring you these fresh shoots of hope from West Africa in this newsletter, together with some broader reflections by our Managing Director about 2020 and the year ahead.
